Overview

A website for buying, selling, renting and leasing commercial property: convenience stores, bars and restaurants, fuel stations, warehouses and apartments, with listings in the UK and Sri Lanka. I built both parts: the public website where buyers search and enquire, and the management portal where the team runs listings, sellers, buyers and enquiries together in one place.

Deliverables

  1. [01]Property search by type, status (for sale, under offer, to rent) and country
  2. [02]Listing pages with a photo gallery, price, tenure, size, turnover and trading hours, plus share, email-agent and book-a-viewing options
  3. [03]Prices in pounds and Sri Lankan rupees, with down-payment and monthly-instalment options for new developments
  4. [04]Buyer and seller accounts with secure registration and login, so sellers can list their own properties
  5. [05]Management portal for listings, sellers, buyers and enquiries, also built by me
  6. [06]WhatsApp chat with ready-made messages, contact forms and email enquiries
  7. [07]Featured, recent and sold listings and customer reviews, on a responsive layout for phones and desktops

Tech stack

PHPJavaScriptHTMLCSS

In development

  1. [01]Version 2 of the website and portal, rebuilt with Next.js, React and TypeScript for faster pages and an improved design.
  2. [02]A Flutter mobile app for iOS and Android, so buyers and sellers can browse and manage listings on their phone.
